Replay Section

Okay, an idea I recently came up with was that the hive could have a replay resource section for sc2 (and possibly warcraft 3, but this is less likely to be as active). The primary reason having this as a resource section rather than a sticky thread is so that moderators could be active in the section and deal with spam replays that are not good. Additionally, it would be easier to navigate through a resource section than a thread, allowing users to look up certain tags so they are able to look at different strategies as they desire.

So, Hive, your thoughts?

This is a modding community, so it wouldn't be that particularly helpful. There are far better places to go to learn about how to play melee, namely sites/communities specifically for serious melee players.

Even though some people like playing melee, most of them are pretty bad and wouldn't benefit/contribute much with such a system. Having it would just mean that we get tons of 'meh' replays, and it would require a lot of extra moderation as it can easily take over 30 minutes just to watch a replay.

This is true that it is a modding community, but imo in order to mod a game you must first understand the game. Additionally, there are a large number of sc2 players that could benefit from this.

But perhaps more interestingly is that a section like this could help attract members that don't necessarily mod the game but rather play the game. More members = more donations = more moniez for Ralle.
