Hey just a quick question, im using a custom attack system and i wasa wondering how to attach small effects like to fire that comes out of a marines gun when he attacks or the spurt of blood that appears when somthing is shot, then it needs to be removed/hidden.

Use models, they can be removed while actors can't. If you want to change the attack animation. Go to the unit in the data editor. Change it's launch and impact models. I think it should work then. If your custom attack system doesn't support this. Then do it with triggers, it will be inefficient though.

Thanks ill try that, and i have a few questions, Due to my attack system i need to check to see if there is a hill behind the target, does the "Hight of Point" Condition work for this? And also, in the Data editor, how do you change the range from which units will move and attack you, I believe in WCIII this was called Acquisition range?

Thanks Again
