[Solved] Remove Water

Is there a better way to remove water from terrain instead of raise it then lower it the terrain? Any help is appreciated!

Just raise 1 little area, then use "Plateau" and scoot across the map (in the way that the aliens from Alien Invader do).
The entire terrain should be water-free in a matter of seconds.
