Remove Hero Glow

I've been looking around for the last few hours trying to figure out how to remove hero glow from wc3 heroes and the best post I found was this however I got stuck at part 1. I couldn't find the MPQ file to find the unit folder. Anyone know where to find it/make it work or even a simpler way to remove hero glow.

MPQs don't exist any more; it uses the CASC archive instead. You can download CASCView to access and extract from it.

I don't suppose you also know where I can find the campaign units? I'm having trouble finding it

A few, I don't have all of the ones that I'm going to use yet but what I've got are Chen, Uther and Evil Sylvanas

Ok so there is actually a much easier way of going about this than the one you linked.

Download Retera's Model Studio
Then if you use Reforged download Retera Model Studio Reforged Hack as well.

Then you can search through all the normal models in the model editor. When you have found the one you want, you check the "Edit" tab, then de-select all geosets you want to keep. The hero glow should be its own geoset. So when only the hero glow remains, you simply mark all the blue things and then click delete. Then you're done. See screenshots:

Then you save the model when you're done.

I'm not entirely sure to be honest, as I'm not using Reforged. Is Retera Model Studio Reforged Hack not working for you?

@Retera Maybe the man behind the editor can answer these questions of yours. I have seen him make some Reforged models so he should know

Thanks for your help. I'll try everything I can and if I can't I'll just ask if anyone can do it for me when I get up to when I actually need it done
