Hey, I am here looking for at least one other person to help work on an American Football map for SCII. This map is going to based on a very popular Warcraft III map named "W.a.L.K.'s Football" (http://www.mapgnome.org/map-info/1912). I do have permission from the author of the map to work on a remake of it for SCII.
The map is usually played 4v4, sometimes 6v6. It is very competitive and requires a high level of skill when played at a high level, but can also be a fun and casual game for newcomers. There is currently a community on Warcraft III of about ~50 people who still play the game actively (at its peak there was over 100 and several clans). Unfortunately, not many people still play Warcraft III anymore for anything other than DotA or Ladder, so we are about maxed out on Warcraft III. That is why we are looking to bring this fun map to SCII.
I can guarantee that when this map is complete there will absolutely be a dedicated community that will play and enjoy it, as long as it is made right. In addition, I would be willing to compensate with money* anyone who helps out in the project.
*At least $100 at the minimum, we can discuss this more in-depth privately.
