Recent Patch broke NewGen

In the recent patch, blizzard's installer transferred all the map files from the C: drive to My Documents and converted them from .w3m to .w3x - now NewGen can't open these new .w3x files. Anybody else encounter this or know how to fix it? Is there a way to convert them back to .w3m or to allow NewGen to open .w3x?

Appreciate any help.

.w3x is used for The Frozen Throne, perhaps you can't open the map because you do not have The Frozen Throne?
