Realistic Maiev/Warden(5 versions included)

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
I always didnt like designs Blizzard went with in WoW, especially after some of it leaked onto Frozen Throne when both were in development at the same time, tho fortunetly we were spared of WoW abomination of Maiev made into walking bulky statue anyway so i wont rant on it too much. However some parts of it still threw me off, especially when you consider that Warden in agility based get-in&get-out type of hero, which made this design even more annoying to look at.
So i came around to edit the model in mdlvis to actualy do something productive instead of doing mini rant on blizzard for millionth time on skype with my friends and this is it.

I dont really know how to name it so 'Semi-realistic Maiev/Warden" will stay for now.
Changes to original model:
-Removal of wings crest from the back,
-replacement and remodeling of coats edge to mainatin the golden trim but remove silly knives,
-reshaped shoulderpads to be of proper size and fitting Maiev's/Warden's arms,
-smaller glaive and rightarm,
-coat slight reshaping
-reshape of breastplate to have more realistic look(no so far out reaching), i also took a liberty to make breasts a bit more rounded and making sides of breastplate smoother)
-all textures have been made twosided to avoid silly looking void-holes in the model.
-changes to walk and stand, stand2 animations eliminating clipping with left shoulderpad and to fix cape to cover Maiev's back.
-very slight adjustment to crotch area,
-on portrait, made shoulders of proper width(previously she had Arnold Schwarzenegger grade shoulderspan xD)
-arms are going up much higher into the shoulderpads and chestplate area, previously it was just barely below these oversized old pads.

I guess it will be substandard anyway, but it may be useful for someone either to have more realistic looking Maiev or to differentiate "lower" Wardens from her stock model.("As we all know you rank is shown in fanciness and thickier and spikier armour right?" *cough cough* "wow" *cough cough* "blizzard" *coughs out his throat* 'rant')


Credits Blizzard for base model, and me for editing it.
Ofcourse you have permission to edit it for your own map purposes(or to calm your OCD), prohibitting people from it especially with ingame model edit is silly. Tho crediting me would be nice, i spent 2 days over it, even if it's so simple.

EDIT: New version added alongside, thanks to kangyun for letting me use face and hair from one of his models for that :) previous version is still there in case you like that better.

-added new lighter fused texture,
-slightly improved the wrap(around ears)
2nd Update:
-added white hair version of new maiev(new face one),
-fixedg gap around the ponytail.
3rd Update:
-Added new texture(greenish eyes but in natural shade, so she doesnt look fel infused xD) ,
-fixed glow, wrap a bit and..... added eyes. Thanks to @Cuore for giving me idea for it :)
4th Update:
-thanks to Dr. Supergood's i fixed the texture(it could get corrupted due some error due to other software i used) it's much lighter aswell.
5th Update:
-Retexture of the model with new variation and numberous wrap and mesh fixes/changes!
Modernized Realistic Maiev:
-New texture with better looking eyes, new face-paint/tattoos,
-new skin tone more reminisent of Legion rendition but with few changes to make her more unique, like red/maroon(in original skin tone version) coloured tattoo
-slight weight reduction of the model,
-ponytail in now same in both haircolours except the colour obviously, previously it still used team coloured vanilla ponytail from classic model
'Classic' Realistic Maiev:
-Improved wrap of whole armour,
-improved and realisticly sized ears both in model and portrait(so helment's shape actually protects the ears :v)
-small fixes to helmet's shape.
6th Mini-Update:
-fixed crash caused by leftover geosetanimation on whitehaired portrait.
7th Update:
-New texture with lime shade eyes, which resembles her TFT self much more, much darker lips, eyeshadow,
-New facial wrap that changes her face kind of significatly.
-Glaive is now tampered like proper blade, this means that it gets thiner closer to the tip,
-Portrait got improved, especially with the wrap(see the side by side picture of old version vs new one)

General: Textures are standarised and actual weight is very low for package of Armoured&Unarmoured Maiev with desired Skin&hair colour is just 296kb with texture - that is for both models with their portraits included. If you go just with one it will be just 190kb for Armoured Maiev and 154kb for Unarmoured Maiev, submission is heavy because i included all variations, it's better that way than just creating several submissions for each. Think of it like Ujimasa Hojo's bundles

although.. i feel that you should have kept the cape knifes, just make them.. a lot smaller and stubbier? oO kinda almost like shark teeth?

They look a bit silly. I wouldnt drag 12 knives attached to my coat. I tried making them smaller once it made trim from the edge pretty much disappear It looked weird, i just went with original plan of getting them off which was hard because of shared texture and meches with trim. I had to rewrap each bit and remodel it xD
 
@Kacpa2 hm.. don't multipost, edit button is there for a reason. and you can easily reply to people by using the @ symbol, followed by someone's name right after

as for the knifes, its alright :b not everything can be done with silly models like war3's xD although.. i would like you to somehow fix those shoulders, so they don't look so weird in some animations, where they literally clip or move illogically

Well i tried yesterday but its mostly blizzards fault it was so bad clipping in original. I will try to tweak some of it tomorrow, because today i need to finally wrap up next update for my map, people whine at me too much already about delays xd

Attack Two has something really weird happening to her Right Shoulderpad
Same stuff happens on stock model, i tried to remedy it but it seems i would need to actualy reanimate it completely, it's not noticeable ingame tho, and in anims like walk and stand which had it most visible i fixed it. I will try work on other anims to some extend later.
To be true many things in this model shown me how lazy was modeler/animator of original. For instance i think so big left shoulder bad was to cover bug-y coat, and overly short left arm. Clipping is everywhere, to fix it completely i would need to fight with it for 2 more days and i dont have that kind of time just for single model.

a bit strange thing. Whats wrong with her shoulders and arms till attack and spell animations? Why do they rotating for 180 grades?

Original anims did so, i will try to fix it but that will be quite a bit of work and i dunno if fully possible with (entire arm twists for this attack anim)
It's not noticable ingame at all, and as i already said is in original model's anims.

I have seen enough already. Not only you optimize the buggy vanilla model, you also improve it with every update. Had to change my rating.

Good work dude, you made this model a bit better. But... I leave your work without rate becuase I hate Blizzard's Warden/Maiev model from beginning to the end. It's not Night Elvish at all: too bulky, too much plate, she looks like damn futuristic robot/cyborg. And I am very sensitive at this point because Night Elves are my favorite race.

Tyrande's Warden skin in HoS looks totally excellent. That's how Warden/Maiev should look (minus bow, and chakram instead of course).

Well it still has as much plate, just shoulderpads got smaller(like in mine) And it still has even bulkier knives there on that skirt/coat. It is alike TFT model with open helmet. She look like a cyborg in Wow tho and on concept art and yes its stupid beyond any reasonable measure(its agility based hero, i would be ok with armour being like in my edit because it would not be heavy but TBC maiev and tft stock shoulder are bigger than her torso......)
I have exacly same feelings to WoW model fo maiev this made me edit her tft one too,so it looks more realistic.
