RDZ Industries: Operation Twilight is the first campaign of RDZ Industries. It has a team of 4 (Me, Rao Dao Zao, Pins and GaDDeN) people currently and is rapidly expanding. We hope to achieve a full conversion of all regular wc3 units into new mech units that will be used in the camapign. The campaign will also include many new settings and tilesets for Warcaft III. The timeline will be set far in the future.

RDZ Industries Security Division :

RDZ Industries began life as a simple industrial corporation manufacturing equipment and machinery for deep-space and hazardous-environment mining. However, when they began to expand the operation into military vehicle creation and weapons research, they suddenly became very vulnerable to attacks from external organisations - either rival companies wanting to steal schematics or prevent research, they still posed a threat to operations. Traditionally relying on small-scale private security firms who were not equipped to defend major research centers against hostile takeovers, RDZ Industries had no choice but to assemble its own highly-trained security division, with mech pilots hand-picked from the very best. Equipped with all the latest technology, they made sure that no facility compounds were breached, and allowed the scientists to continue their work without the constant annoyance of having to run for shelter.

However, RDZ Industries had to keep itself above the opposition in the public domain, and there were plenty of other corporations doing secret research that had to be disrupted. Thus, they invested in some stealth technology and formed an elite team of mechs and pilots...

RDZ Industries PX Division - The Biotronics Project :

PX Division was much like any other RDZ Industries research division, but for one thing - the experiments and research carried out by the team were highly illegal and immoral. Aside from extensive genetic engineering projects, there was the diabolical Biotronic program - the quest to create the ultimate fighting machine not with computers, but by wiring a human mind directly to a mechanical and electronic body. Nervous systems were extracted from prisoners caught snooping around the PX facility, and placed in prepared machines and set straight to combat tests, which produced startling results. The Biotrons were remarkably good at fighting, whether it be hand-to-hand or sniping - they were fast, agile, steady-handed and more. But they were all insane. The process of removing and inserting the brain and nervous system drove them mad, and even after they were back in a more suitable environment, the strain of mechanical interfacing with organic caused them constant distress.
However, in the later years of the research, the process was perfected somewhat, allowing the minds to be transferred without causing them to lose their sanity. But they still felt enough torment to gain a healthy hate for their captors.
Some prisoners were worse than others, some were strong enough to become hardened against their pain. Some were born leaders.
During combat tests of a batch of machines, only three years before the meteor struck the "Twilight" facility, the group of Biotrons under the microscope rebelled and slaughtered the nearby guards. They made a straight run at lightning speed for the compound walls, faster than the outer defenses could attack them. They vaulted the walls and disappeared into the icy wilderness.
PX Division were determined not to lose their precious experiments. They called in the Security Division to track the Biotrons into the sparse forests - following tracks that had not been covered at all, tracks that were fresh. The capture and return of the Biotrons seemed like an easy task.
The tracks led a long way from the facility, but approximately three kilometers from the compound's breach, they stopped dead. The RDZ Security Mechs walked straight into the trap and were torn to shreds by the Biotrons, who proceeded to use the scrap metal for their own ends. They were, however, never spotted again by RDZ Industries scanners or patrols. They had, it seemed, disappeared.

RDZ Industries GOD Project :

The GOD project was one of RDZ Industries' most secret projects. It concerned again the quest to create the ultimate fighting machine, but this time with Artificial Intelligence rather than genetic engineering and bio-mechanical systems. However, it was rumored that RDZ himself was directing the GOD team operations - the shadowy, enigmatic manager who rarely paid a visit to any labs at all, spent much of his time at the GOD facility. They progressed in their AI program far faster than the Twilight team, who worked slowly but steadily. The GOD team took leaps and bounds, although this caused many flaws to become apparent too late in their AIs' scripts - some became dangerously unstable, others refused to operate at all, some spontaneously destroyed themselves by crashing their discs and overheating their processors. However, some made it to being implemented in the first GOD prototype - a machine that was roughly man-sized, but with twice the speed and reflexes, twice the intelligence and more. The prototypes were, however, almost skeletal because they were just that - prototypes: early beta versions with no armour plating at all to protect their fragile innards. They could survive a few bullets if they missed vital components of their internal architecture, but they were at a loss when it came to any form of explosives, and had to rely solely on their speed.

The GOD team were not put off by the early problems of the project, and made serious modifications to create the Fire God - a taller, stronger machine with plenty of armor plating. This reduced its speed somewhat, but made it a far more deadly operative. The GOD project AIs, however, were discovered to have an embedded override system - a system that, when activated, would allow the activator to release the controlling AI's sub-system locks - to basically allow it to do as it pleased with the full power of its weapons. And when the AIs are apparently unstable as it is, this shocked some of the scientists. It was not clear who had inserted this mechanism, but it was somebody far more experienced than them. Somebody who knew how to cover their tracks.

When the Twilight facility announced the completion of their Mark I, the GOD project were quick to acquire some schematics and attempt to insert one of their own AIs into the machine, before the Twilight team could finish their Mark II with their more stable AI. Before they could finish, however, the hidden override was activated. All the GOD machines that were switched on at the time were suddenly able to do as they needed, and some of the more unstable AIs cracked. They went berserk, and the one successful Twilight led the prototypes on a rampage, slaughtering every last scientist and ripping the facility apart. They took all the computer components they could carry and headed out for the steep hills. They, like the Biotrons before them, seemed to disappear.

RDZ Industries Military Division :

As RDZ Industries expanded and acquired a monopoly in the weapons industry, RDZ, seeing an opportunity for expansion into an un-filled niche in the market, created the RDZ Military Division. The RDZ MD was a huge success; essentially all the production line mechs in one massive team with several sub-divisions. Their first test was against MS Enterprise, a rival military supplier who controlled much of South America on Earth - an area rich in metals. MS Enterprises were far better protected than RDZ had anticipated; the security division assigned to taking the area was destroyed. However, the RDZ Military Divison changed this completely. The Army was unleashed upon MS Enterprises Headquarters in Peru and the were completely wiped out. The trail of destruction the RDZ MD left behind was appalling. But the construction crews soon moved in and were to leave a far worse legacy as they plundered the area for its mineral wealth.

The RDZ Industries GOD project break-down cause left RDZ Industries no choice but to call in the RDZ Military Division. The plan was for the RDZ MD to move swiftly to destroy the renegade AIs before they could damage or release any more sensitive material. The plan sounded so simple but as the military moved in more and more casualties were suffered. The GOD project was far more successful than most people had anticipated. The prototypes slipped through their grasp.

When the meteor impacted on the Twilight facility, the RDZ MD was quickly mobilized. They knew just how bad it could be if more dangerous experiments made it into the wilderness.

RDZ Industries "Black Operations" Unit :

After witnessing the devastating effectiveness of the RDZ Military Division against rival corporations, RDZ Industries knew they had to cover the other end of the spectrum - covert operations. Hence, they formed the "Black Operations" team. The unit consisted of the world's most highly trained skilled Mech pilot, in finely tuned Mechs with various extras to make them that little bit more effective than standard RDZ Mechs. RDZ Industries employed these assassins with the world highest technologies. The unit included the Twilight Mech v3.1 which included the new TAC or Thermoptic Adaptive Camouflage device - which allowed the Twilight Mech to blend in to any background, and become totally invisible while stationary. The RDZ BO Unit also contained the new RDZ Beta-18 "Sniper Mech" - a light, fleet-of-foot Mech with a poweful but silent rifle that could deliver an explosive depleted uranium bullet, capable of taking down any Mech and its pilot.

The Black Operations Unit was a mighty force for sabotage and more, and the secret of its existence was tightly guarded. The RDZ Central Archives do not even acknowledge its presence. Only the disappearance of rival corporations' personnel and facilities testified to its combat efficiency. The leader of the Black Operations Unit is unknown, although rumour has it that he, she, or it is highly placed in the organisation as a whole.
