What does Area of Effect represents in Raise Dead ability?
First I thought it is like acquisition range, but after testing, it is not.
Cast range is what determines how far you can raise dead from, rendering AoE in Raise Dead useless?
Can someone explain?

My bad, was thinking about the necromancers' ability
@aradmnk so rude

Btw made some testing myself, it seems that only Area of Effect matters, changing the cast range values doesnt change anything about the spell
For example, high cast range with small aoe, the corpse has to be in the aoe to be risen;
With low cast range and wide aoe, the unit can be risen even if out of the cast range

I believe area of effect is the acquisition range for the auto-cast feature. Cast range is the minimum distance the Necromancer has to be to use Raise Dead on a corpse.

Sorry for late response but I just tested it out and it works exactly like the quote says except it is not for auto-cast only.
