How do you add a name of a race(faction) at the UI of a unit? Like all undeads have an 'Undead' under their name.
I know that's actually a classification, but is there a way I can add a name I want under the name of a unit, without any unwanted stuff?

Warseeker is right. In World Editor go to Advanced menu in the top bar of your WE, choose Game Interface. In the Game Interface window check the "Use Custom Game Interface". Scroll to the bottom and find "Text - Unit Classification - ..." fields. Edit the field of your choosing.

I know, but the unit has to be classified as Undead... it's the same as Mechanical, Summoned.....

Unit classifications have in-game functions, e.g. Undead units are healed by Death Coil, take damage from Holy Light and are valid targets for Death Pact and Dark Ritual. Tauren units are valid targets for Ancestral Spirit and Mechanicals cannot be transported. You should avoid changing these in the interface for aesthetic reasons (i.e. just so people can see your units belong to faction X).

It would (probably) be better to add a passive ability (or self-aura) that tells the user what faction a unit belongs to.

Yes, that's why I don't want to waste time improvising with that, cause I don't even understand what functions thay have and you can't change the names of all classifications, only for 4...
You can add "|n" to the name of the unit. Everything you write behind that will be in the next line, allowing you to do stuff like adding a subtype to the unit.

Example:
Gandalf |n|c00808080Mega-Wizard|r

Nice, thanks! +rep
