I am a member of the race maker community, and just want somewhere to put down ideas without the annoying thousand-character limit that is put on posts in social groups. So this is where my race ideas will be. If you decide to use them, please ask my permission or, at the very least, give me credit and send me a link to your map.

The entire Slime race is based on a simple unit called an Oozeling. Oozelings are spawned from the central Hive for a bit of gold. They can start buildings and gather resources, as well as fuse with other oozelings to create more powerful fighters.
Buildingsa are divided into three categories: military, ecenomic and defensive. Each category starts with a single building, then gets upgraded into one of several specialized buildings to carry out a specific function.
Each building branch has a diffrent function. Military buildings allow Oozelings to fuse into more powerful fighters. Ecenomic buildings provide population, research upgrades and serve as resource drop-off points.
To upgrade your buildings, you have to invest resources as well as more Oozelings. To upgrade your buildings, however, your Hive needs to mature (explained below).

Note: Buildings are ranked by Tiers (T), the number of upgrades they are from the first basic building.

HIVE
The Hive is the center of any Slime population. This large creature spawns Oozelings, and functions as a resource drop-off point. As time goes by, your Hive grows in maturity (gains mana), and at certain points it can undergo growth phases and increase in power, giving you access to more buildings. A level two Hive is needed for teir one buildings, a level three Hive is needed for teir two buildings, and a level four Hive is needed for teir three buildings.

MILITARY
Military Building (T0)
A simple building that holds information for creating stronger slimes. Oozelings can become Oozes (basic melee) and Slimes (basic ranged) with this building.
Festering Pool (T1)
This pool of slime, rotting garbage and miscellanious organic decay can spawn the most potent agents of the Hive Mind. Allows the training of one hero.
Slime Shack (T1)
A hall-like structure that holds the information fore even stronger Slime warriors. Allows oozelings to fuse into a seige unit.
Ooze Tower (T1)
A tall tower containing the knowledge of plagues. Allows oozelings to fuse into a Muck (offensive spellcaster)
Slime Hall (T2)
A matured Slime Shack. Allows oozelings to fuse into a flying unit.
Plague Tower (T2)
A matured Ooze Tower. Allows oozelings to fuse into a supporting spellcaster.
