What does Quill Spray do and how does it work? I'm so confused about that ability.

Seems it gives the unit damage bonus and a ranged splash attack.

Why's that! It can be useful. I used it as a custom ability once. But the hero won't be able to do any damage to destructibles.

It's used to add splash damage to a simple attack. I think it's quite similar if not identical to Orb of Anihilation.
