Just thought I would show you guys what I did in 5 minutes.
I know it's really rough, open and bare but I don't upload anything at all so I figure this would be my first.

Mm yes more tiles, that shall be done next time.
And the doodads add more variety ;] even if they do seem a bit 'out of place'.

I don't like the trees, why didn't you use the UTM?
1. More different tiles
2. End of the World-Try covering it with more hills, like 2-3 layers of hills.
3. The hill on the left, you should lower it, it looks really unnatural.
4. If your keeping the trees then at least lower them down by clicking "Ctrl+Page down"
5. River rushes can sometimes look really bad if not used in the right way so try using more shrubs but shrink them down in hight by clicking on them and "Page down".
6. What's up with the portal? Looks really weird.

Anyway, your contest terrain looks much better, try sticking to that style of terraining, standard blizzard models are u-g-l-y. They were good 7-8 years ago, now they aren't.

Thank you for that feedback.
I do not use UTM because I prefer the normal WE, that's just my personal preference.
And I dunno, felt like a good idea to put the portal on there.
Ah well, next time I do a 'Time Attack' approach I hope to do better.

Thank you both for the comments, have some rep ;]

Well if you want to terrain for an art screenshot, you should definetally use imports for at least trees. Additionally rocks should be an import aswell. Just to gain the possibility to use better looking models.
Apart from that, you should stick to the points Oziris pointed out.

Hope to see you working on that ;)
