What I would do is use a single unit-group (for each unit that has the aura). Every interval, remove the stats from the units within the unit-group and then re-enumerate the nearby units and add the stats appropriately. The bonus of using the IsUnitInRange is that collision would be factored into the range, but for an aura this really isn't 100% necessary (and is do-able in GUI).
 
Ok Here is my attempt to make the skill but it didn't work, I'm new to world editor so I don't know much

Add the event
Time - Every 1.00 seconds of game-time

And the actions:
  • Custom script: set bj_wantDestroyGroup = true
  • Unit Group - Pick every unit in (Units in (Playable Map Area)) and do (Actions)
    • Loop - Actions
      • If (All conditions are true) then do (Actions) else do (Actions)
        • If - Conditions
          • ((Picked unit) has buff Stat Aura)...
And add every action of those you've made, but use "Picked unit" instead of "Triggering unit", since you refer to a unit that you pick from a Unit Group.
