Question regarding some models degraded quality inside game.

Hello! It came to my attention while using models made by myself (where I simply changed their skins or renamed an animation of the model), that some models are somehow changed inside the game.

If I watch the model using a viewer or directly extracting the model and then watching it, the model (principally the face of the model) looks more detailed, then when I watch it over the game or world editor, the model has less quality and even sometimes has some part removed.

For example the Forest Troll model, outside the game has a detailed face and it has two axes hanged on the belt, but inside the game both axes have been removed and the face quality has clearly been degraded. When I imported a Forest Troll based model, in which I only changed some of the animation names, this Forest Troll model has the two axes and the detailed face.

Probably most of you are totally aware of this, but I'm just curious to know why does that happen? And how you control it so I could do the same to some of my imported models?

Examples of models whose quality (Specially the face) is changed inside the game:
- Forest Troll
- Far Seer
- Blood Mage
- Quilbeast
- Beastmaster
- Naga Royal Guard
 
it depends on the resolution of the screen... as for my personal experience, my screen's highest resolution is 1280x800 while my wc3 can only get up to 1024x720...

meaning the models I look using magos will be at 1280x800 resolution while that on the game is only on 1024x720 resolution...


plus I think wc3 compresses them a bit...

Use magos and wrap width and height of all textures except team color and team glow texture, and you will get a wrapped model with great face, i already try it for rexxar, troll, blood mage(not kael, because kael has wrapped texture) and the other, oh and mounted units or heroes cant be wrapped
