I created the following custom units : Troll Axe-thrower(model - forest troll trapper) and Troll Berserker(model - Forest troll, Forest troll).
I tried to make a custom Berserk Spell for my new Berserker but it neither animations actually work. What is the Animation Name (string) for the Animation - Spell-Berserk of the Forest Troll model?
The other problem is that replacement of the two units does not work properly - the Berserker Should replace the Axe-thrower unit ,but it appears in the barracks before I've researched the upgrade. Luckily at least the Axe-thrower is replaced after the upgrade is being researched.
What are you suggesting that I do?
Thanks.

Berserker upgrade is a complicated research. First, you have to make sure that your two units are depedency equivalents of each other. Then, you have to make sure your Troll Beserker is NOT AVAILABLE by default. Can't remember how exactly you do this but I think its in the Scenario Options -> Player Techtree menu. The upgrade makes the beserker available when researched, but obviously if you forgot to make it unavailable in the first place, then it will show up in the barracks before you research the upgrade.

As for your animation problem, I don't think the forest troll model has a beserk animation. Blizzard only intended beserk to be used on troll beserkers and the animation is specific to that model.

Yes. You are right. I changed the availability in the Techtree Properties menu and now it works. Thank you!
As to the animation problem - I'll have to think more about this. There is an animation, but the spell itself is somewhat stranger than an ordinary spell (Frenzy for example) ... and I don't know the correct animation name.
