[General] Question about morphing

yea, the unit gets removed from the game after that time, and it just playes decay flash and decay bones animations until that happens, unless it is revived or is raised.

This is just a speculation, so dont take this as guarantee, but maybe if you set Dont raise/Dont decay, unit gets removed from game earlier, because there is no way to bring it back to life.

How exactly you morph the unit? I want to test this and see what knowledge I can get out of this

What is the reason to store the variable? If you just want another unit of the same type then save unit type variable instead.

It has to be same unit? Then maybe you can revive and hide unit?
