Question about item inventory

Im having trouble figuring out how to make an inventory screen show up where abilitys do where i can equip armor and weapons that you can return to normal ability screen when finished. Im pretty sure this is possible. any tips or tutorials anyone can point me to ? I basically want an ability that changes your ability hotbad at bottom right with squares for head chest feet ect... and a back button to go back to main hotbar. any help is appreciated. Thanks
