Quell'Than River

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
I put just fantasy to my maps because i think, if a map has nice minimap, the player will download it, but if the map is good with no minimap or foolish minimap, the player won't download it.

Here's a list of BB Codes to help you improve the description; background of map, number of goldmines, creep camps, item drops, screenshots, etc. Please follow these submission rules:
Original Work
Maps must be significantly worked on, or entirely created, by their submitter.

Gameplay
Maps must be fairly fun and decently balanced.

Presentation
Maps must have adequate spelling and grammar. Maps must contain a valid author and map name. Maps must contain a proper description of what the map is about.
This map will not be approved in its current state.

I did not understand a word of that.

  • Blue really doesn't have a lot of room to build a decent initial base.
  • Red doesn't have a lot of trees.
  • The terrain needs a lot of work (the tileset is currently a bit bland, there's a lack of doodads, the raise/lower has been done very locally, which shows).
  • Starting creep camps are different (level 8 vs level 6).
  • Mid-game creep camps are also different (level 14 vs level 10).
  • Goldmine creep camps are different (level 11 vs level 10).

The drops are nice, the balancing is somewhat good (blue's initial base might not be big and his expansion hard to conquer, he's still safe on high-ground), the main problem concerning balancing are the creep camps themselves.
You should also reposition the upper merchant slightly, which is clearly in favor of blue.
It's a nice attempt, but still not what you would expect of a good melee-map.
