:vw_love:Is it possible I can have more than one effect going on in SPECIFIC parts of the map?

Or would I have to learn how to make my own animations and stuff and import it into the editor?

:vw_wtf:Just something that crossed my mind earlier after finally tinkering around with it. I'm making an Ashenvale map and I want the rays of moonlight shooting down into the forest while having other places have that Shield effect.

:vw_death:And if it involves a lot of uh... "Triggers" and stuff, I'm gonna be lost on that. I had a hard enough time learning C++ in High School.

Thanks in advance!

If you make a region cover the area you want you can add a weather effect to that region. Just double click the region and select the weather effect you want. The limitation of course is that it will be a rectangle.

Ah. Another issue.

I've made the regions and set the 'Weather Effects' but it doesn't show up in game or in the World Editor. I've done some looking and it said to readjust your Game Settings, so I did, restarted, etc, but nothing changed. :c

I just reopened the WE and tried adding different effects. Some of the ones like Snow and Rain will work, but the Shield and a lot of the Fog ones (the ones I need) won't show up at all.

My game settings are cranked to the max. Particles on High, shadows, everything and I took a screen cap to show everything I had visible. xc

Weird... Last time I tried that it works... can you post screenshots of the set-ups?

1) maybe the area was too small, seeing as how little those boxes are...

2) it might be because they are trying to show on the ground level, so since you have water in there, the weather is actually shown "underwater"

I think it's number 2... Rain and the like "works" since they start from above the ground, while things like the dalaran shield starts from the ground... so since the ground is under the water, you don't see the effect...

if you need the dalaran shield, there are doodads for that...
