I should add that this is my first map, and the amount of work into it is probably 150 hours. This includes reading tutorials and all other things I needed to do to get started.
Looking for: someone to run through my triggers or to provide advice.
Map history: This map is inspired by Castle Fight. However, I intend to change the gameplay arround so that this is not just a copy of the original.
In first instance, I wanted to base the map on Bloodtournament, but that proved too difficult for me at that moment, and went with this idea instead.
Now I feel like I learned quite alot about the editor, and at this moment my map is around 75% finished.
Map conditions: The map is playable at this moment. I know that certain aspects of the map are still not done (like the terrain) but I saved the nicer (easier) parts for last.
What is finished (main things):
2 Races are complete. Tooltips, abilities, triggers. All the works. The Undead race is tested around 15 times now. The other (Orc) race is tested only 3 times so far.
All triggers appear to be working (and there are a lot), and I believe to have reduced the memory leakage as far as my current knowledge reaches.
What is still left or doesnt work:
I got a multiboard working. It is not buggy etc. But I would like to divide it into 2 sections, one per team. Also, I want to avoid team 1 from seeying the amount of gold team 2 has, and visaversa. I do not know yet how to get this triggered and would be glad with any help I can get.
The terrain is not done yet. I just didnt put energy in it yet. If someone feels like to make it nice, then be my guest - but for now the terrain is not really a priority for me.
Well I need to add many many more races. But that will be done in due time. And the reason there are now 2 is because of testing purposes. I know I said the map is 75% complete, but I dont think I will stop soon with adding races after everything else is complete. 100% complete map would be at least 6 races. And after that I will continue to add more and more.
It would be very cool to have a trigger mechanism that features a number of (chat command) rounds. Yet for this to work I need to have more triggering experience.
Ps. the name of the map is open to suggestions.
