hi all !

anyone know how i can convert war3map.j to war3map.wtg ? or everyone know a tutorial or have a programm with them i can convert it ?

because i want learn one thing more !
it stands in the FAQ and so I want test protection things, but i didn't found any tutorial of it !

so pls help me !

try the faq on the battle.net forums, it states that you have to import a blank text file, then rename that to war3map.wtg in the editor by checking 'use custom path'. note that you won't be able to open the map anymore, so keep make a copy of your map before protecting it.
 
what i wanna know is HOW exactly to unprotect a map coz in the FAQ darky isnt exactly specific on how 2 do it :(

Why would you want to unprotect a map? A protected map should respect the mapper's privacy. If you want something in it or want to learn something in it, just contact the author, simple and easy. If you can't find him/her, your out of luck. Didn't I say not to discuss it here? Discuss about it somewhere else.
