When I logged in this time my user profile contained notifications of all the threads which fulfilled these 2 condition:
1.....I am subscribed to
2.....Last post was made on them within one month of today
I had seen the threads before & no new posts had been made on them but still somehow my user profile showed notification of them.
The way I got rid of all the notifications from my user profile was to see all of them one by one as usual.
Well this has happened only once with me but I wondered why.
