It seems that spells can't cost more than 1000 mana. Is there a way to modify this, somewhere from Gameplay constants? Or do i have to make a trigger that removes mana(>1000) from a unit when it casts a spell? The problem with the trigger is that then you move the cursor over the spell it still shows you that it costs 1000 mana, even if it costs more. So is there a way to increase the mana cost?

I am going to check this out. Did you try Shift+click on the manacost bar when setting values?

Edit: Shift+click works and can get values over 1000 :D
Just stand with the mouse on the thing that sets mana and hold Shift before you click it. That also allows negative values on a lot of things.
