[Spell] Positioning

Can someone explain the positioning of ability/spell icons? I know it must be really simple but I find it confusing how an (X) value of 2 makes it the 3rd spell horizontally. Does anyone have a chart of the 12 spaces and what the (X)/(Y) values are for each tile? If so, thank you very very mucho.

The positions of the icons are as follows:

Positions	X0	X1	X2	X3
Y0	X0, Y0	X1, Y0	X2, Y0	X3, Y0
Y1	X0, Y1	X1, Y1	X2, Y1	X3, Y1
Y2	X0, Y2	X1, Y2	X2, Y2	X3, Y2

You can see that X starts from 0 and increases from left to right.
Y, on the other hand, starts from 0 and increases from top to bottom.
