Portrait model posting error

I tried to post a portrait model and suddenly, an error occurred. Is there something wrong?

Thanks for the video. Can you share the model? Either by putting it in pastebin or in a reply here.
Here's a sample.

On my computer the model seemed to load OK. What kind of error are you getting when attempting to load the model?

Hive Sanity Tester is out of date and can't load models from the two newest model versions, but if I retroport the model to a version that Sanity Tester can load it seemed to be OK and loaded on there.

Do you have more in-depth specifics about the "corrupted" formatting error you are seeing from the parser used by Hive website @Ralle ?

EDIT:
I tried to upload the retroported model in the old format to Hive and it seemed that this did not crash. Is the problem that HIVE needs to be updated to match the newer Warcraft 3 game graphics format version?

EDIT 2:

My conjecture of the problem:
If we want to know where Ralle' Hive site is broken all we have to think about is the timeline of MDX changes and why they changed

2002 - 2020:
  • During this time the game used MDX800, which never changed
  • There was a brief time in 2019 where a version called MDX900 existed for Reforged beta, but the actual Reforged game discarded support for that format and so it only exists in specific old versions of the game, and it is a horrible idea to use it
2020 - 2022:
  • During this time Reforged used MDX1000 which was the release client graphics format for Reforged
2022 - 2025:
  • After the Activision folks fired mostly all the remaining Blizzard folks and hired on PlaySide studios or whatever, the new people weren't super familiar with the code
  • They pushed patch 1.33 into production so they could legally claim they had "a ladder" in the Reforged game that would "rank" players to try to end lawsuits about removed features.
  • But since they were pulling in the 1.33 version of the game made by the people who had been sacked, which was not a finished version of the game, it loaded in a new graphics format that had a sleeker design to material layers to try to optimize the MDX
    • The new format broke the game and broke how "Classic" render mode would display so just random stuff like the Water Elemental in versus mode didn't render properly and loaded error data, and they left it that way for 12 or so months since they dont care
2025 - 2026:
  • During this time Brad Chan came on the Warcraft direct stream and he said "When something is wrong, you make it right. When something is broken, you fix it. And when things aren't good enough, you make them better!" were his life guiding principles.
  • Then, he made a third graphics slider and a whole page of sliders, that could drop in the classic models while playing in Reforged graphics mode, and put AI upscale textures on them.
  • But since some people questioned his leadership and judgement at this point, in the summer of 2025 he changed the model format again, adding a way to change the intensity of shadows on light emitters so that he could toy with the color settings of Reforged graphics mode and the shadows cast by the sun.
    • Or, if that's not why he did it, maybe his bosses told him to change the graphics format in a tiny pointless way expressly to try to stop "modding" and people outside the office from catching on to what they were doing, so they could retain ownership over the binary format and kick out the hackers.
    • I don't know I can only speculate

The following is conjecture:
Based on this chart, the logical problem that Ralle's Hive Workshop website has here is that it is not parsing the casting shadow intensity of the 2025 format light emitters correctly when parsing portrait files. This is the most logical problem for the website to have. When Ralle goes to diagnose where his website has gone wrong, his MDX parser will tell him the model is corrupted because LITE binary chunk is the wrong size. But this is false - it is the correct size, since it includes the new shadow intensity data. So then we will find it is the Hive Workshop website that needs to be patched in this case, because Brad Chan and his team of new people are "making it right" in Reforged with their new updates.

SIDENOTE:
I no longer play Reforged. Instead, I have been playing World of Warsmash and listening to AI generated songs about how Brad Chan is not good. After Brad gave his speech about wronging the rights of Reforged, he leaked the source code, so we can play Warcraft III compiled from source on other platforms such as Linux and phones now and ditch this horrible corporate misguided management. And ditch Windows.

"When something is wrong, you make it right."
