Delicious copypasta is delicious: I noticed you get belroom instead of gallade though. I found it useful just to get through the elite 4 so the real training can start.

Dear /v/,

I know you're playing Pokemon HG/SS. And I also know that some of you just want to rock and roll, not fuck around. Who wants to have five fucking pokemon to catch one stupid legendary dog?

Thus, I have constructed a mighty CATCHAN pokemons just for you.

Pokemon: Gallade
Level: 100, Adamant
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Moves: False Swipe, Mean Look, Close Combat, Thunder Wave

If you can't catch basically every motherfucking legendary there is in the game with this, you should stab yourself in the head.

How to connect, you may ask? Boot up your Pokemon game, and go to the Wifi settings menu. Then go to the menu for your regular network connection. Scroll down to the DNS server section, and make sure it isn't auto-obtaining a DNS.

Set your DNS server to 99.181.125.193 and save your settings. Then visit the GTS, and download away! Press A when you get that blue screen. Your Pokemon should be waiting in your Party or PC.

Blame boredom, and enjoy your mighty, FALSE SWIPAN, THUNDER WAVAN, CATCHAN POKEMANS WITH A MASTER BALLAN, Gallade.

I'm sure someone will like that. Worked for me.

Yes I know it's hacked.

Toxic Orb is used in many cases :3
For example, using Toxic Orb on a Clefable with Magic Guard is a very common strategy, as it prevents it from being statused in a more serious way (as Magic Guard doesn't protect against all effects such as Paralysis making you go last and such).
Also, I've seen Toxic Orb used a lot on Pokemon with Guts, but I prefer Flame Orb as I think it cancels the damage reduction on it.

Then there's Lopunny. Using the ability Klutz, you can give Lopunny literally ANY item with a negative effect and not get effected by it. Then you can just use Switcheroo on any Pokemon of your choice :3

Btw, one strategy I've used in UU is Flame Orb on Swellow with Guts. Facade becomes GODLY :O

Okay so I bred a whole buttload of chinchous after finding out my current one has shitty IVs.

So here's what I got:

Chinchou, Calm, Lv.100 - HP: 261 (1/0) | Atk: 87 (16/0) | Def: 108 (27/0) | Sp.Atk: 139 (22/0) | Sp.Def: 157 (26/0) | Spd: 166 (27/0) | Hidden Power: 68, GROUND | Format: stat (IV/EP)

or...

Chinchou, Calm, Lv.100 - HP: 273 (13/0) | Atk: 80 (8/0) | Def: 88 (7/0) | Sp.Atk: 147 (30/0) | Sp.Def: 161 (30/0) | Spd: 160 (21/0) | Hidden Power: 63, GROUND | Format: stat (IV/EP)

and I'm having a hard time choosing >__> keep in mind attack is completely irrelevant here

Well being Water, its main weakness are normally using Special Attack, as naturally one would want to switch to Grass or something of that sort to counter it (hmmm, I know its water/electric so I don't think it shares the weakness of electric). I would say go with the second one. Idk, but if Chinchou can learn a paralysis inducing move that would also benefit it, making physical attack even more difficult on it.

Wow, I didn't realize there was any practical use for Toxic Orb

If only you know the move Fling. It throws the item your Pokemon is holding. Using the goddamnly useless Iron Ball, the Base Power will be a whooping 130. This can also be applied on other Hold Items with Negative Effects too.

@ Pyritie
It depends on you. If most of your opponents are using Special-type Moves, i suggest the second.

It also depends on what you want to use the Chinchou for. I'm guessing T-Wave hax lol
Btw, is it for NFE or are you planning on evolving it?

Also, I have some nice new strats for the OU that I've either encountered or came up with myself ;)

Specs Swampert: Essentially, the name of this strat says it all. Swampert with a whole range of special attacks and a Choice Specs is highly unpredictable (as I've only encountered this ONCE, and it was beastly), especially if you use it as a lead. Most players will predict the Stealth Rock. Most players will Taunt to prevent the Stealth Rock. Most players will lose at LEAST one Pokemon from this.

Scarfed Gliscor: Not entirely sure if this is a standard set or not, but I've seen XENON use Scarfed Gligar in NFE many times and how much it pwns, so I figured I'd give Gliscor a try in the OU. Essentially, max out its attack and speed EVs, make sure it's Adamant and give it a whole range of Physical Attacks. I gurantee that this will cause the shitting of pants. Incidentally, with the Scarf and an Adamant Nature, Gliscor even outspeeds Jolly Electrode with max speed. So it's worth it ;)

Infernape Lead: Not quite what is expected. Essentially, what I have atm (which can work in given circumstances) is Vacuum Wave, Flamethrower, Grass Knot and Endure holding a Petaya Berry. I am considering replacing the Petaya Berry with just a Focus Sash and Endure with Nasty Plot, but anyway, the idea behind this strat was INITIALLY a counter to the Specs Swampert lead. But the basic idea is you take a 0HKO hit after using Endure, activate Petaya Berry, then attack. I use it as a lead, but ultimately I usually swap it out to some other Pokemon in my party :3

Unpredictable Gengar: Essentially, the idea behind this is to exploit a very nice combination on a very nice Pokemon - Mean Look + Perish Song. Mean Look is used to trap the opposing Pokemon in (duh), and Perish Song is for dealing with those nasty, hard-to-kill stallers. I give it Focus Sash so it can get the Mean Look off or just so it can gurantee a kill on some of the harder-to-kill attackers. The other two moves I have on it are Shadow Bolt and T-Bolt (pretty standard Gengar attacks, although Focus Blast is often used). Most people will switch in a Blissey (if they have one) on the Gengar, so the Focus Sash also allows it to test whether or not they have one. Then Perish Song f***s it up :3

Eevee Loltactic: Basically, I saw this used by XENON. You want two moves - Protect and Last Resort. I gather Life Orb should be used here, but I'm not 100% sure. You could use Silk Scarf for less effect but no damage recoil if you really wanted to. Or Focus Sash to gurantee at least 1 hit from the Last Resort. Use this as a lead.
~~~~~~
NOTE: As I have already stated in the name, this is a loltactic and should not be used as an absolute pwnage tactic. Essentially, any good player could set up a Sub-sweeper on you if you overuse this tactic, so be aware! Raikou is one such example of a Sub-sweeper! Raikou will rape any orophis left unprotected!
Oh noes. D:
Wazz! Use OneManga......!!! D:
Well, use OneManga 'till Chapter 103. Read the rest on MangaFox. :p
Oh, and, on OneManga it's named "Pokemon Special", the Japanese name.
On MangaFox, write "Pok" one search. Not "Pokemon", because you would need an accented e on MangaFox.
Wrong, breloom can have an ability called Poison Heal so instead of taking poisoned damage, it heals itself. So with the toxic orb it essentially becomes a leftovers but prevents other major status problems.
It depends on you. If most of your opponents are using Special-type Moves, i suggest the second.
Its weaknesses are grass and ground. Grass is mostly special, but ground is mostly physical.
Also the first one has 119 total, the second has 109.
It also depends on what you want to use the Chinchou for. I'm guessing T-Wave hax lol
Btw, is it for NFE or are you planning on evolving it?
Yes, planning on evolving it. Sticking it in a lvl 100 wifi battle's just a quick and easy way to check its IVs :p
Well, Fling is one way. Poison Heal is another. Fling deals damage, Poison Heal heals and prevent ailments.
Well I did know about Fling and other potential uses, though the problem of it toxic poisoning the holder is a bit of a problem - for a pokemon like Zangoose this isn't an issue, though they often don't learn moves that are good with item warefare. I didn't know the Breloom could actually be healed via toxic, making that item very desirable for the strategy mixed with drain punch.
I personally wouldn't choose Lanturn, but it can be useful in absorbing Electric type attacks. But... yea, it's a little meh, and far too predictable lol
So, what set are you going to run on it? :3
I personally don't care for Fling. I mean, it is really only useful once (unless your Pokemon is holding a Berry and has the Gluttony ability, then it's only semi-useful twice :p)
But if you DID want to use Fling, and if you DID want to use the Iron Ball's base power of 130, I reccomend using a Lopunny with Klutz for that. That way you won't ever have the negative effect from it.
But the Pokemon you Fling the item at doesn't end up holding the item. Fling just gets rid of the item. So after that, you'd be relying a lot on what the opponent's Pokemon is holding in order to Fling again lol
Mind you, it's not a bad strat. Actually, Fling would be very handy for dealing with Choice Scarfers, Guts Pokemon, Scope Lens... the list goes on :3
However, I prefer Knock Off to Thief, as you don't have a chance of ending up with a crap-ass item that ruins your strat lol. You just ruin their strat :3
Btw, I am currently using a combination of Blissey and Shuckle in my new OU party, and it is the BOMB! A little hack I noticed in the rules is that although you're not allowed to have Wish and Aromatherapy on the same Pokemon, Wish and Heal Bell is A.O.K. So I have that on my Blissey as well as Toxic and Seismic Toss :3
On my Shuckle I'm running a set that the fabled XENON uses, which is Stealth Rock, Toxic, Encore and Rest. I have its Defense on full, its health just 4 EVs away from being full and 8 EVs on Special Defense. So, essentially, I use it primarily as a Physical Wall and use Blissey as a Special Wall. Result? The opponent has a very hard time denting my party :3
And when I get a chance, I switch in Machamp and get a Substitute off. That way, if the opponent decides to switch in a Psychic or Ghost type Pokemon like Alakazam or Gengar (which is MUCH faster than Machamp), I can get the Payback off. If they don't, I have Dynamic Punch and Stone Edge at the ready :3
Btw, I also use the Gengar, Infernape and Gliscor strats I mentioned above. That way, if theirs a Poison Immune Pokemon in their party, Gliscor should be able to deal with it pretty easily with an Adamant EQ. If it's a Grass/Poison or Steel type with Ground immunity, I can always crank out the Infernape, maybe get off a Nasty Plot or 2, then rape their Pokemon that way XD
@ Tank_Commander : CAN I HAZ BELDUM? I'll trade you a [Insert Junk Here] holding a Lum Berry.
Pal Pad Code :
3266 7442 7178
Also, [Insert Junk Here] = Scyther? :D
Any specific thing you want for this beldum and scyther for example nature, nickname (cos you can't change nicknames after a trade), Gender (for the scyther) and suchlike.
Note: I cannot garuntee that I have the right gender and nature for a pokemon (and similars) right away, so for me obtaining these things may take me a while (upto about 1 hour or so)
Also, I thought I would take this time to quickly announce the shiny pokemon (2 with pokerus) on offer tommorow! (I spent quite a while getting these things) Note: you can only have one of these, I'm not letting somebody take all of them so the others have a chance :p
Minimum number of people who want to do this forn me to arrange the touney (I'm not gonna give ledgandaries away that easily) is 8
EDIT : Ahah! I put my Scyther in the wrong box. Nvm, I'm sticking with Scythe.
Edit3 : Ohai there! Lulz, thanks for the Beldum. Nice set of pokemanz, I feel like such a newb, with no EV'd Pokemon... ._.
Well, look at it this way. If you have Wish on a Pokemon, you can heal another Pokemon in your party, essentially making them invincible so long as you can get the wish off. If you have Heal Bell, you can completely screw up any Toxic stalls and any T-Wave haxor parties, or just ultimately give your party another advantage. Having them on the same Pokemon, however, increases the effeciency of screwing up the opponent and will theoretically make your party invincible, especially if you're able to wall off the remainder of your opponent's party with Blissey alone ;)
As for having the abilities on separate Pokemon, I am not sure whether or not that's allowed, but I think it is ;)
