Point Target Channel without cancelling current orders

I'm using an edited Channel ability with a point target to trigger different orders targeting the Channel target.

When the order fails, nothing should happen, the unit should just carry on with its current orders.

But instead, it always runs to the target point. Can I somehow make it an instant cast with a target point?

I tried setting the cast range to 99999.00 (the maximum), but then it just turns towards the point and does nothing.

Thanks :)

Yes having more than one such ability on a unit will in most use cases lead to problems.

You might have to go with a workaround, as Reveal (AHta) is the only point targeted ability which does not interrupt the units orders nor uses its cast point to my knowledge.

Hmm, I can't find a way to differentiate between the Reveal abilities.

I could use Channel without target, set the unit's custom value to the Channel order ID, then trigger the Reveal ability and use the custom value to trigger the next order.

But then there's two problems: I need to hide Reveal from the unit/spellbook somehow, and there's no targeting image, only a cursor.

It's for an Advanced Build menu.

I'm using a spellbook with Channel abilities (with point target) for every "advanced" building. When a point is clicked, a trigger catches the order id and issues a build order at the targeted point.

So I need multiple abilities with a point target and a target image, which I can use to trigger build orders for different buildings.
