How do I know which skins support custom player colors? Lets say I want a new footman skin, but, lets say, the shoulder pads are supposed to have the color of the owner (like the original Wc3 skins made by Blizz).

How do I know? Test it? No way ...

dont bump.

That are alpha channels, you just edit them.
If you dont know where they are, search for this (if you use photoshop)

in PhotoShop, down right corner you have Layers|Channels|Paths. Click on "Channels". Now you will see under those options the next things:

RGB
Green
Red
Blue
Alpha 1

click on Alpha 1, that are alpa channels.

ok thx a lot, do you know how I can find new skins that still have these alpha channels? I tested some of the skins in the dl-section but most of them looked the same for different player colors =/
