[Spell] Plague Cloud based ability

Hey,
I want to create an ability based on passive plague cloud Apts. It doesn't work with a unit with range attack. No plague effects do appear. Does the unit require area damage or siege damage?

What Arrr said is true, you'll have to get a damage detection system and create a plague cloud with triggers.

Or you can try the Parasite spell/Black Arrow that ticks whenever the target unit takes damage and set the damage to 1 and make it only last for one second/one tick. Not sure if it works but might be work trying

Doesn't the Demolisher burning ground thing basically work the same? Maybe units won't still have it's debuff if they leave the burning ground I guess?

Hm yes maybe I will try it. If the plague effect is only damage it won't make a difference.
