Nope, that has nothing to do with this hard coded editor limit.
It is impossible in standard WE to bypass the limit. You have to resort to some third party editor enhancement like WEnolimits or JNGP (which has that built in I think) to get over this limit and place as many doodads and destructables and units as you want.
Do be aware that WC3 is not designed to handle 10000s of objects. Infact it crashed last time I tried having over 60000 destructables in a map.
For units, I advise only creating them via triggers when a player is near by (for an RPG).
