As Todor and Mark kept runing, they reached a destroyed bridge above an underground channel... At the other side, there was a strange creature, a wicked combination between a bear and an owl. Before our heroes could observe it, the beast turned around at them, Roared mightfuly and attemted to cross over. It's unnatural foot stepped on the broken bridge causing a few rocks to fall in the water. Confusingly, the two men looked at each other. The beast went over to the pile of corpses, it picked up a body and hurled it towards Todor and Mark who at the last moment deflected the projectile. Shocked the men moved their shields, stared at the corpse, then at the monster, then ran back. The only way out now, was the shaft, that the goblin told them of.

they're evil monsters, have you noticed the goblins observing in the background

I thought myself it was a doodads thing instead of a goblin.

You can clearly see 2 goblin magi observing the creatures. Also That dead goblin on the bridge, if he was killed by us, we would have put him in the pile of corpses which is sadly not visible.
