The tax caravan came out of the narrow canyon. It was moving slowly, the horses were uneasy, and some of the guards muttered in the cold, damp weather.

"HALT!" the captain shouted, and held up his fist. "Roadblock ahead, AMBUSH!" the guards raised their shields and moved in to a box formation around the horses. Zhakar ordered the ambush, and the bandits were upon them. Guards cried as war dogs tore out their throats, other fell as the assassins suddeny appeared behind them. Tyra was watching it all from her vantage point, pleased. "Grab the horses!" Zhakar shouted, and several bandits moved in to grab the reins while the last guards fell around them.

"Uuuuuhhnhhnnnn... Damn you..." The captain was still alive, trying to stand up. "I want him alive!" Tyra ordered, and two orcs grabbed his arms. "Whe...Where are you taking me? Damn you greenskins! And you traitors!" he spat at Tyra, as she moved towards him. "Blackstone would like to see you. Come on, move out." The bandits left with their loot, leaving the dead to rest in the cold rain.

Bandits are heartless people! Not even giving the men the dignity of being buried after they were slaughtered!
