Report 103

I arrived at Camp Hawk around mid-morning with the recruits. The place seems a lot more lively than I remember it. By lively I mean teeming with nature. The trees around the Camp have grown fast. A little too fast compared to the trees surrounding Avria. Though maybe it is just the nature of this civilisation, fast in growth but short in life. On arrival it could be noted that all the recruits were either on duty or practising their skills. It is good to see that sort of commitment in recruits. Maybe soon the Black Hawks will too grow rapidly and defend the kingdom, not only the City.

Jack, whom I mentioned in a previous report, seemed anxious to join in practising his skills. A Noble recruit but he, like the rest, must first learn patience. A skill not easily acquired it seems. Training starts on the morrow and there has been a lot prepared for both myself and the Recruits. The Lord Commander thought it would be good for me to freshen my skills, given I was mugged recently.
