It was a misty morning somewhere in the southern outskirts of kingdom. It was cold and rainy, and the bandits were freezing, not allowed to light fires. They were preparing to ambush a royal tax caravan that was travelling towards the village of Stonemarsh. Tyra had been put in charge of the ambush, in cooperation with the greenskin, Zhakar Skullbasher, a bloodthirsty scoundrel and fearsome fighter.

Zhakar's clan had nearly been anihilated a few years back, and the local bandit lord, Blackstone, had opened his arms to the refugees. After all, with a common goal and a common enemy, it wasn't that hard to become friends.

Lynni, Tyra's second-in-command, came running up to the overlook. "Tyra! Our scouts report that the caravan will be arriving here soon!" "All right. Inform Blackstone that we are in position." "I'm on it." Lynni turned around and ran for the bandit camp. She was probably the fastest runner Tyra had ever known, and kind of cute too.
