Override Spell Type (action)

Hi there people, I'd like to ask about:

How to change the base ability ID of an ability, to prevent abilities of same ID being triggered at the same time when one of them is used?

Even I enter a new ID through Shift+Enter it remained unable to function well.

Please, answer my distress call X_X

i think you have to use "channel" as dummy ability, afaik thats the only ability whichs base ID can be changed, correct me if i'm wrong please, alterativly you could base your abilities on different spells

I haven't tried Channel yet. Though the second way of yours won't work.

New IDs entered with Shift+doubleclick act like you choosed none as base id
pick from list

which part you didnt get of "pick from list" exactly ?

Even I'd picked from the list, It won't function.

pick different ids for each spells from base id list and you are fine

only possible with channel and spell book
and its not order id
its base ability id

I see. I know its only possible with those two abilities.

But how if I use OTHER abilities? I'm not really familiar with Channel and I'm not gonna use Spellbook either.
