Overlapping Maps

In one map that I played, which was some form of the Parasite map, you could type a command which switched to an alternate map, which seemed to be either on top, or below, the other map. I was curious about how you do this. Thanks.

It isnt actualy below or above the other map. They are actualy just beside it, but they somehow lock your cam and minimap to just that spot. It is also used in many minigames maps, so having no clue about how to do this I will just advice you to find a map with it, and go look in triggers. (I will also pressume it is made with JASS

    • Camera - Set the camera bounds for Player 1 (Red) to Region 000 <gen>

Quite correct, Operator. Most sadly, the actual minimap picture is a constant, and thus if you lock camera bounds, it won't zoom in on a different part of the map. Most minigame maps just import a new minimap picture to compensate for this.

Oh damn operater, you are just right... doh (Should have told myself, it was the minimap thing that confused me, but well ya locking the cam to a region also prevents you from moveing on minimap...
