Here we go again, yadayada, GhostThruster with another map that he's gonna quit on.

OVERKILL

Introduction:
Overkill is a mini-game taking some inspiration from the game 'Tilt 2 Live' on the iPod touch. I used the SC universe because there aren't explosions and Psionic beams and Flamethrowers etc. in WC3. I wanted to do something simple and elegant, for once, instead of my too complicated maps that I did before. This map shouldn't be too hard to complete, triggers are basic and in GUI.

Map will be open source. Hurray!!!

Gameplay:
The game is separated into 'rounds'. At the beginning and end of each round, you will enter a menu that ISN'T a crappy dialog one and configure your options. Once all players are ready, they are spawned into the game area.

The goal is to dodge the Zerg and pick up the Weapons using your arrow-keys, you control 1 Mootrooper(you'll see when the map's done ;}) and he moves in a sliding fashion. Turning speed reduces as movement speed increases, so watch out. Zerg and Weapons spawn randomly around the map periodically. You will 'bounce' away from other players you collide with.

There is a maximum of 12 players per round, however players can skip rounds to be excluded from the next round and observe the game. The round won't start until a 60 second timer expires or all the players are ready. Then, depending on the round options, you will enter another menu that allows for Teamplay.

Options include:
Teamplay or Free For All(FFA)

Difficulty-
Casual: you might as well sit down and laugh at the futile, lumbering Zerg
Hardcore: the mode for men. A breeze for gamers, a toughie for newcomers.
Overkill: the mode for women, really muscular, hairy, deep-voiced women. Everyone will find it a challenge.

Modes(yeah baby!!!)-
Deathmatch: the standard, runaroundanddon'tbumpintoanyzerg game. Teamplay allowed.
Inferno: dodge the obstacles and stay alive. Teamplay allowed.
Psionika: stun the helpless Zerg, and finish them off with head-on collisions. Teamplay allowed.
Capture the Tassadar(CTT): find, hold, live. Teamplay allowed.

Note: If you're a beginner, skip a round and take your time to look into the Help[F9] dialog. The game lasts forever.

Progress:
I work in this order, occasionally making some art inbetween for the game UI:
Terrain: 95%
Object Data: 90%
Triggers: 5%
UI: 75%
Overall: 66.25%
Of course, I will add some screenshots.

Credits:
Thanks to these guys:
General Frank - Mootrooper
Cavman/Kimberly/-SuPa - Zergs
Tails96/DevineArmy/L_Lawliet/4eNNightmare/Kimberly - Icons
Wc3styler - UI

I will import more resources into the map, and of course, add credits.
The current map size is about 2.5mb, but I will try to reduce it to less than 3mb, and if the case is desperate, I will optimize the map and attach a unprotected version.

Most of all, please share your ideas/feedback.
