[Thought] Mario Party?

Hiya,
I'm thinking about solo designing a Mario Party, full like the game on n64 and other consoles, with the board game and then at the end of the round having a minigame, either that or having game modes where its story mode or battle mode (for selection of games).

I thought maybe having 8 people will make it too long of rounds, any ideas would be helpful and thoughts whether you'd be keen on playing the game, just gathering information for popularity and whether itll be successful
