How can I force an unit's mirror images to copy it whenever it casts spells?

[Spell] Order Mirror Images to Follow Suit

Mirror Images and Illusions can't learn abilities (at least not active ones) as far as I know. You either have to create you own "Mirror Images" (regular units with an expiration timer etc.) or hardcode the spells you are using to also fire from Mirror Images, so it appears as if they are using them.
