Orc 6 Bugs

    Alright, here are some bugs on Orc 6.
    My brother and I played just a few minutes ago, and we found a lot of bugs.

    The Raider that Player 1 is provided with is named Orc Scout.
    The Wyvern quest can't be completed.
    The Wyvern on the left in the cinematic where the Harpies kill them is left alive, even after the cinematic.
    The Save code isn't properly colored.

    That's all we observed.

    Also, when we loaded, Player 2's items were not loaded.

    • Player Two's items are not supposed to be loaded. For some weird reason Nazgrel's items go to chapter 4 and 5 and Thrall's to chapter 6.
    • The Orc Scout is actually a Blizzard thing.
    • The Wyvern I can confirm, I saw it too, I just had more important glitches to mention.
    • As for the quest, it can be completed, but you need to kill the Harpy in the area where the Wyverns are captured.
    I will have another go at the map to see what's up with the load code. All the other bugs are either false or confirmed. I will mark the whole thread as confirmed. As always, thanks for your feedback.

    Aw. We even had awesome items. :(
    Oh, I see. Now why did they name it as Orc Scout?
    We killed all of the Harpies in sight, yet the quest still didn't finish.

    I've just played it again.
    • The Harpy Queen in the area where the Wyverns are ensnared drops a Pedant of Magic. That should be moved to Harpy Venomancer for insane.
    • A Wyvern is not removed after the cinematic.
    • After the end of the game, your forces are not disabled and hidden.
    • The code is not colored as indomitable1319 mentioned.

    I'll have a crack at those bugs now.

    Maybe the wyvern side-quest bug is a normal mode only bug, I'll look into it.


    And seen as another person is confused by the way I've done the items, I'm seriously thinking of reconsidering how I've done it D:

    This is how the campaign does it:
    thrall always keeps his item sets
    the items cairne finds in chapter 2 return in chapter 6 (and onwards)
    grom gets his own items for those two levels

    This is how I've done it:
    thrall always keeps his item sets
    the items nazgrel finds in chapter 1 are passed onto cairne in chapter 2
    the items cairne finds in chapter 2 are passed back to nazgrel in chapter 3
    the items nazgrel finds in chapter 3 he keeps onwards

    should the items nazgrel finds in chapter 3 be passed onto cairne in chapter 6?


    EDIT: Map updated with those bugs (hopefully) fixed.
    Not closing this one just yet though, incase theres something not fixed or someone has something to add to my query.

    I think Cairne should get the items.

    Well, I don't really know.
    But you should tell the players that're playing the game about how you give the items and stuff; so they won't fret when they don't get their items.

    There are some stuff I forgot to post but noticed when browsing my screenshots.
    • Catapult tooltip says "Train Demolisher" and it uses the Demolisher icon. The in-game model is Catapult, though.
    • When a Fortress is built, the message notifying players about it has a typo in it. (It says "<> has upgraded to a Fortressl for both players.")

    Made me think of a dinosaur : D
