Blizzard offer us a range of Orbs, how will you rank them?
All orbs allow heroes to attack air units.
Orb of Fire : Add 5 damage, each attack splash 5 spell damage.
Orb of Lightning : Add 5 damage.
Have 10% (to hero), 35% (to unit) chance to cast purge on the target. Heroes are paused for 1 second (3 for units). Also get slowed for 5 (or 15 for unit) seconds. Summoned units get 150 damage.
Orb of Venom : Add 5 damage. Target received 9 damage every second for 6 seconds. Damage stack.
Orb of Corruption : Add 5 damage. Target armor is reduced by 5 for 5 seconds.
Orb of Frost : Add 6 damage. Target attack speed and movement speed are reduced, 25% and 50%. Last 1 second for heroes (3 seconds for units).
Orb of Lightning (+6) : Add 6 damage. Deal 35 damage to summoned units. Unit get purged. Slowed for 3 seconds (0.3 for heroes).
Orb of Slow : Add 6 damage.
Have 5% (to hero), 35% (to summoned unit), 15% (to units) chance to cast Slow on the target. Attack speed and Movement speed are reduced by 25% and 60% last for 20 seconds for Heroes (60 seconds for units).
Orb of Darkness : Add 6 damage.
When kill an enemy, raise a lesser dark minion, 200 hit points and 13 - 15 attack damage.
Orb of Kil'jaeden : Add 6 damage, each attack splash 6 spell damage.
Shadow Orb
+1 : Add 1 damage
+2 : Add 2 damage
+3 : Add 3 damage
+4 : Add 4 damage, + 1 armor
+5 : Add 5 damage, + 1 armor
+6 : Add 6 damage, + 1 armor
+7 : Add 7 damage, + 2 armor
+8 : Add 8 damage, + 2 armor
+9 : Add 9 damage, + 2 armor, +2 regeneration
+10 : Add 10 damage, + 3 armor, +2 regeneration
My ranking from worst to best:
Lowest rank: Shadow Orb from +1 to +4
Lesser rank: Orb of Fire and Shadow Orb +5
Low rank: Orb of Venom, Shadow Orb +6 and Orb of Kil'jaeden
Medium rank: Orb of Lightning +6, Orb of Darkness, Shadow Orb +7 and Orb of Lightning
Major rank: Orb of Slow
High rank: Orb of Corruption, Orb of Frost and Shadow Orb +8
Final Rank: Shadow Orb +9 and +10
