Ok this is my first try at skinning it is a very early wip cuz i have to study and this is all i can do for now. i am going to finish this
i would also like to know why is smudge bad?

I don't see much difference, please post the original and the wrapped version!

So far it only looks like he has done a bracer and part of a foot.

Smudge is so bad because it makes images blurry, and undefined.

well smudge isnt quite so bad, but i can make ur skins look dirty. i use it but on very low opacity so i can slowly blend them together.

You do not texture like that, you should texture on layer stages and such than a single peice by peice.
