New terrain! Worked on it for 4 days (not literally ofc). Feedback is always welcome.

nice, looks very realistic, you should post that in the Legendary terrains!

I disagree with this now im not saying this terrain is bad cause it does look nice but imo it's not good enough to be legendary. Now to talk about the terrain itself i like the atmosphere in this terrain yet the building is far to big and you might want to add more detail into it anyway besides this i wouldn't really know what you could change about it besides adding some life into it.

I disagree this is full of life and should make legendary. And btw since when did Dr House get a positive reputation?

All the life i see in this picture are the birds and could you actually tell me why it should be legendary?
It displays wonderful use of lighting and shadows, which creates a perfect atmosphere. It also has incredible depth in such a small area.
There is also quite a lot of individualism on show here. He created his own terrain and made it look awesome. Still though, sadly I agree with "Dr.House", this isn't exactly Legendary terrain worthy.
But still it's amazingly done, congrats Johan.

None terrains these days are worthy of being in the Legendary thread. Only in the top ten perhaps. The Legendary thread contains only terrains that use new techniques that were never used before. Which clearly in this picture you can see that nothing is new to the community.
Now I'd like to say that I started liking your terrains for some time now. They are smooth, beautiful and elegant to the eyes. Keep them coming. I like the tent actually, but it's all about personal opinion. :)

The tent seems a bit... Sharp in contrast to the surroundings. Perhaps if you played with the shadows on it, or something alone those lines. I would suggest to make it alot better that you had a try at reflections to enhance it greatly. A bit more play on the lighting would also raise it a bar up.

Overall apart from the contrast of the tent, I like it.

People, if you deem a terrain worthy to be in the top 10/legendary thread, just bloody post a suggestion in the actual top 10/legendary thread
.
Stating here that this terrain is qualified to go in the top 10 thread won't mount any movements from our side, it'll just start a pointless discussion whether this terrain is worthy or not >.>

And on a related note, I'm going to take a wild guess that Johannesr is actually more interested in proper feedback than such a discussion from users who won't have a final say in it anyways.

~Terrain Jury

To make my point less hypocritical, here's my feedback:

What I've been noticing in most of your terrains is that you need to put some thought into your rock formations. They're usually flat and peculiar-looking. If you flatten rocks completely, the textures won't really merge.
The felsen model is much more efficient to work with than these actually, in terms of formations.

And I would also agree that the tent is sharp in contrast, being a background object and all. It should definitely be shaded, either with tinting or any other related method.

But yeah, as Azurot mentioned, it's noteworthy how much depth you actually managed to squeeze into this.
And I'm personally quite fond of that sun, although some sun reflections in the water could do wonders here (Much like what you did in one of your first terrains on my suggestion)

Overall commendable, well done.

I am not all that happy with the sun... I think some sunrays would fit nicely since right now it looks like a big blob... also what fladdermasken said..
On a different note, I really like the background design that you managed to pull of on the right side behind/next to the tent and on the left side between the two trees. That part of the terrain surely is great!

I kindly disagree about the sun, to my eyes it looks good as is. And considering all the advices I would give is already given, I'll just go for a social post here.

I just really like this terrain. There is something about it that reminds me of the good ol' days of terraining. Good job, well made, have a napkin.

Keep em comming.

I tried doing a sun reflection at first, but i dunno, it seemed to draw too much focus onto itself. And thanks again for the nice feedback :)

Oh and could you tell me what the felsen rocks actually are? The rocks i used in my underwater The Picture entry were called Fels1, Fels2 etc, did you mean those?

Dear, the felsen rocks are very tinteable, give them a chance. You'll love em in the end ;)

Oh, and on a personal note; saying that the texture is more likeable on those rocks as oposed to the felsen ones is utter rubbish, personal note, mind you.

Oh, those might be some new ones attached to the thread. My apologies for asuming that you would download the actual map and find them there.
Which, btw, isn't sarcasm. I simply thought it as obvious at the time, I can see how it is not that obvious, though.
