We first had Alterac Valley.
Then we got Warsong Gulch.
After that, Arathi Basin.
Now comes the first of the so called "Open Battlegrounds" to our lands!
Behold the Northwatch Hold!

Down by the borders of the Barrens and Dustwallow Marsh lies a small fortress, a reminder of the Alliance's old power. The political disputes about this small dot on the map have already escalated once, and, though Lady Proudmoore and Warchief Thrall resolved the matter, the tensions remained. On several accounts, the Horde has asked the denizens of Northwatch Keep to leave the hold, yet they remained. The Horde is done waiting. Even at this moment they are marshaling an army. An army of adventurers, for Warchief Thrall knows that if he sent out his own troops, it would mean all out war with the Alliance. Though the Northwach Hold decleared themselves seperated from the Alliance, the politicians in the high councils still see Northwach as an important strategic point. So, their hands bounded by the same reason as Thrall's, they too are recruiting for battle.

First of all: Northwatch Hold (NWH from now on) is an Open Battleground (OB), which means that it is not instanced, and that it's a battleground made by players, so dont expect 50 NWHs a day. In fact, for the first trial runs of NWH, there will only be one per week. If people are interested, the "reset" rate might be reduced. If anybody wants to come, please send an ingame mail to Siren, or Rekashin if you have a horde character that wants to participate, until the appointed time of the OB.

Gameplay: Northwatch hold consists of a gate, a blacksmith, a stables, a mage's tower, one scout tower, and a tower witch has been apointed to be the headquaters of the defenses. For the start, NWH will not include the stables, or the blacksmith. So the three strategic points are thus: The Gate, the Mage's Tower, and the Northwatch Headquaters (the scout tower doesnt count as a strategic point). At each of these posts stands a leader: The Gatekeeper, the Arcane Inquisitor, and the High Defender. The leaders may NOT leave the NWH. The goal of the Horde is to kill all three leaders atleast once. The Alliance's goal will be to keep the Horde at bay until the timer runs out OR (this is optional) if every horde player lies dead at the same time!

Rewards: The "faction" rewards will be announced once the NWH gameplay has been balanced.

Additional Info: The closest graveyard is in rachet, which is about one and a half minute away from the NWH in ghost form.

Requierments: FlagRSP2 mod.
