Hello Guys,
I decided start texturing. But there s one thing i don't understand:
When I've made my own model and want to make a skin for it. How can I know where the right place for example the head is?
You understand what I mean?
I just don't get how a 2 dimensional skin can fit onto a 3 dimensional model.
Pls try to explain it to me. :)
I have read the Anti-Noobism-Skinning Tutorial and when i make my first skin i will fóllow the rules. :)

A lot of surface modeling programs have the ability to unfold a model into 2D planes, that could help you get started.
