Noob jass local variable question

does this work:
local unit u = (whatever unit)
local real u = (whatever number)
or will it mess up because of the variable name being the same? (im guessing it works but wanted to ask)

You cannot have two variables with the same name. So yes, the Editor will yell at you for doing it.
