Hello, I've been working on a map for a little while that requires plenty of custom models. For some reason, I seem to have hit a model limit of some type. Any models I've downloaded recently don't work at all. I would appreciate any help you can offer. My version is 1.08.

It could be because you use pre-TFT-version, and many models are saved with mdx (introduced with TFT).
Try patching to at least 1.10 or newer and it might work. It's possible that you need a version even newer than that though...

MDX models exist since wc3 exists.

With that being said, Reforged (patch >=1.32) updated the MDX format with a new version which is not compatible with any older version of the game or community tools that aren't actively maintained (magos, mdlvis, etc.)
It doesn't matter if the models are SD or HD - if a model's version is 1000 (which you can check in the sanity test, RMS, a hex editor, etc.), it's not going to work in RoC/TFT.

This is the case for many new models on the Hive, so it would be the first thing I would check if I were you.
