No damage bonus with negative armor?

Is it possible to remove any damage bonus from negative armor? As if effective armor was minimum 0?

Unfortunately the negative armor value equation is hard-coded into the game as far as I'm aware. e.g. changing game-play constants won't change it.

You would need to create a custom damage event that reads armor values or install a damage engine and alter the damage received yourself.
