* Added tameable wolves
* Added cookies
* Sleeping in a bed now resets your spawn position
* New Minecraft logo
* Holding shift while climbing will hang on to the ladder
* Spiders will no longer trample crops

does updating remove your previous saves on SP?

nope sometimes minecraft converts it into something
dpends on the save version if you have a beta 1.2 (below) save and play beta 1.3 (above) with the save it the save will convert
